It’s time to raise a toast, as Zero Degrees West has been shortlisted in the Clio Entertainment Awards yet again.

Since 1971, Clio Entertainment has sought to shine a light on the very best in film marketing. Now spanning across movies, TV and gaming, the accolade is a celebration of creative communications for the entertainment sector.

After scooping up silver for our Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them campaign in 2017, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that we’re in the running to take home another statuette.

Since our magical success with Warner Bros. US last year, we’ve been working alongside the team to deliver campaign after campaign for their stand out roster of titles – from the funny – Game Night – to the frightening – IT– and full-on heroic – Justice League. But it was one of the year’s biggest – and we mean literally – titles that stood out above the rest, and secured our place on the Clio shortlist; Kong: Skull Island.

Kong: Skull Island

Our aim for Kong: Skull Island was to create an earthquake of engagement across social, ensuring that Kong continued to smash the charts at home ent. release – and we delivered.

Our Monarch timeline content, while also becoming a permanent staple in the Monsterverse canon, generated over 200k total engagements alone. The mobile-optimised, cross-channel campaign certainly hit the mark, as Kong: Skull Island topped the DVD and Blu-ray charts, taking the number one spot in its first week.

For more of our chest-beating creative, check out our Kong: Skull Island campaign page, here.

We wish to thank Warner Bros. US for continuously giving us opportunities to work on their outstanding line up, year in, year out, and of course, a proud nod to our teams on both sides of the Atlantic for their passion and hard word – always striving to produce world-recognised campaigns that push the boundaries and deliver amazing results for our clients.

We’re delighted to be shortlisted, and until the winners are announced on November 15th, we’ll be hoping the mighty Kong will swing a win our way. Watch this space!
