If total domination wasn’t enough for the little yellow creatures, this time they set their sights on one of the world’s biggest sporting events. We partnered with Universal to make our Super Bowl debut, kicking off the theatrical campaign for Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Utilising a limited number of assets, we created vibrant, interactive content to ensure fans could get in on the action. After the first look teaser was broadcast during the Super Bowl, we were on hand to react to fans’ comments with a suite of relevant Minion reaction GIFs, while our countdown Instagram Story and deviously-fun GIPHY stickers amplified Minion mania.
