Our long-standing client ODEON turned to us to help them develop a brand campaign that would launch their latest range of premium large format (PLF) screens, iSense.
The challenge was to develop a brand creative that could instantly translate the iSense offering and compete with the existing PLF market. As well as the high-definition picture, we really needed to find a way to emphasise iSense’s unbeatable sound quality through a static visual, all the while ensuring the creative dovetailed with ODEON’s existing offerings, such as ODEON Luxe.
To express the state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos sound technology and breath-taking 4K projection with clarity, our strategy was to create a visual that evoked the sound and detail in one dynamic design. Our striking explosion of diverse, precious materials and carefully manipulated depth of field gave it the ‘tangible’ quality and premium feel ODEON were after.
Sophisticated blue and gold colourings and simple logo lock-up ensured the brand had a clear point of difference to standard screens, but still possessed an ODEON brand connection.
Our tagline was direct, clearly referencing our main KSPs and using repetition to create a memorable lilt that would resonate with our audience.
The creative was designed to be easily adaptable across a variety of outputs including web, social, ECRM, in-cinema and OOH, also enabling ODEON to easily localise and roll-out the brand across their European sites. And that’s exactly what they did! We are pleased to say that our creative became the definitive visual across all brand content, representing the most extensive offering of premium large format screens in Europe.
